Job Description
Summary:
Safely and effectively perform routine and non-routine maintenance on plant equipment utilizing preventive and predictive measures.
Makes daily workplace inspections and pre shift equipment inspections Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning parts of machinery and equipment Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions using meters, gauges, or other testing devises Ability to read and interpret work orders, and equipment manuals Know hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearings Complete work orders recording work performed, parts used and amount of time for maintenance or repair Clean, lubricate and adjust parts of equipment and machinery Use cutting torches, welding, power tools, and instruments used in maintenance activities Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, plum bobs and straight edges Performs other duties as assigned Minimum
Qualifications:

yr experience in material handling, preventative maintenance, and equipment repair experience in a mechanical/ industrial related job Must be familiar with the use of welding/cutting equipment, mechanical and pneumatic hand and power tools, meters, and test equipment May be required to return to work during non-business hours in emergency situations and to perform work on a scheduled stand-by assignment Ability to perform tasks that include but not limited to walking, climbing equipment, working within confined spaces and occasionally lifting 50 lbs and more Must have dependable transportation Physical Demands:
