Job Description:
Summary:
Direct and coordinate activities of modifications and improvements to the cement plant.
Maintains up to date industry knowledge of kiln/RM operations.
Reviews and manages capital projects.
Will work with other departments and management to resolve reliability issues and recommend measures to improve operations/conditions of machines and equipment.
Reviews and participates in schedule development for shutdown.
Reviews and participates in developing plant budget.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field required.
Prior project management experience required.
An understanding of chemistry raw mix, clinker and cement is a plus.
Must be available to work on:
call as needed.
Must be hands on and able to work in the plant environment on a regular basis.
Proficient in MS Office products and AutoCAD.
Demonstrated experience in skill sets such as problem solving, creativity, strategic thinking and decision making.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
