Job Description:
Ensure maximum process equipment capacity usage through continuous monitoring and improvement of process control parameters.
Recommends operational/control changes.
Effectively collect and analyze data to correct deviations; including statistical process control.
Work with Production Manager and Quality Control to make necessary changes to process programs and equipment to maintain the quality and efficient production of cement.
Direct the activities of the Control Room Operators in their everyday duties of plant operations.
Develop and conduct training and development programs for Control Room Operators.
Development of standard operating procedures and process control plans.
Assist in the development of and adherence to annual budget for all phases of plant production including runtime, scheduled maintenance downtime, costs of raw materials, electricity and manpower.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
Bachelors degree required; process or chemical engineering degree is preferred.
Requires 1:
5 years previous cement industry experience.
Work experience must include troubleshooting, process studies, in:
field measurements and calculations.
