Essential Job Functions Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guests Explain menu items and answer product question as raised by guests Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers Relay the correct order to kitchen personnel and staff Engage with guests in a friendly manner Deliver food and drinks to guest in a timely manner Complete all side work which includes various cleaning tasks (busing tables, rolling silverware, etc.
) Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues Collect payments from tables Properly checks ID's for any guest purchasing alcohol Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed Must follow the guidelines stated in grooming standards policy Communicate openly, timely, and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress, and problems Always be approachable, coachable and have a good positive attitude Non-Essential Job Functions Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
