Sonographer Needed in Ocala, FL!
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team in Ocala, FL.
You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and alongside top-notch physicians and healthcare professionals at multiple reputable sites.
Key
Responsibilities:
Performs, properly documents and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.
Adapts procedure to each patient's medical situation obtaining all available necessary information for proper interpretation.
Demonstrates knowledge of Cardiac & Vascular anatomy and physiology.
Cardiac Sonography:
ability to perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, contrast and agitated saline studies, and assist with TEE procedures.
Vascular Sonography:
ability to perform carotid exams, abdominal exams, upper and lower extremity arterial/venous studies with ankle brachial indexes, PVR, post vein ablations procedures, and imaging of pre-operative/post-operative bypass grafts, stents and endarterectomies.
Qualifications:
Basic EKG knowledge.
BLS upon hire or within 90 days.
CPR skills check bi annually.
Must be able to function independently with little or no supervision.
Must be able to read, write legibly and perform basic mathematics skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
