Resident Service Coordinator Our mission is to build and maintain high-quality, well-managed, service-enhanced affordable housing communities that meet the needs of lower income families.
POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Regional V.
P.
, the Resident Service Coordinator is responsible for assessing resident needs, developing and/or identifying programming to meet those needs, making resource information available to residents, provide linkages to needed services for low-income residents living in our community.
The ability to effectively coordinate services for residents directly effects the quality of life and allows resident to maintain their housing.
Provide resident support during the move in, renewal and resident process.
Including education and enforcement of lease.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents (needs assessments, goal plans, community meetings, etc.
) in order to offer resident, the opportunity to assist their community and guide them towards appropriate services and resources.
Evaluate outcomes of regularly scheduled on-site programs and services as required for quality improvement.
Collect required data for all programming offered and submit reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain all reporting requirements set by funding and/or governmental agencies.
Promote self-sufficiency and encourage residents to build on their strengths.
Schedule and oversee on-going programs that promote health, wellbeing, and independence of the resident population.

, fitness classes, weekly van schedule) Identify, assess, select, develop and maintain referral relationships with local agencies that effectively assist residents to enhance their quality of life and provide supportive linkages between residents and referral agency staff when residents of agencies request assistance.
Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations and individuals, with an emphasis on providing on-site services to residents and the community.
Plan and coordinate recreational, cultural and social activities in coordination with property operations staff and residents as needed.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of available community resources for residents.
Promote inclusion and non-discrimination within the development.
Work cooperatively with the Property Manager to achieve the goals of the program.
Attends all staff meetings, training courses and conferences as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 2- 4 years of experience and or training in community development, social services or related field.
Training or experience working with diverse cultures.
Crisis and mental health experience preferred.
Experience conducting community assessments, applying the principals of conflict management and or de-escalation techniques and organizing community groups, events and programs preferred and proven ability to work with diverse groups.
Demonstrate a commitment to recognizing residents' knowledge and experience as a valuable resource.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Ability to effectively facilitate meeting and community gatherings.
Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook) Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
