Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage the coordination of our high-quality construction projects from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects.
Maintaining professionalism and a professional jobsite, is a founding principal, and must be maintained at all times.
As the Construction Superintendent, you will be required to oversee all the operations on the construction site and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate should have great leadership skills and be able to ensure the satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring the projects align with the company's standard and objectives.
Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in a timely fashion.
Allocate resources for assigned projects.
Inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, local building codes, and other regulations.
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Establish and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Address issues related to site safety, efficiency, and quality control.
Perform regular job site inspections and produce daily field reports.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, providing them with the information necessary to carry out their work.
Qualifications:
Proven working experience in construction management, with a specific focus on commercial, industrial, and residential construction.
Construction management processes, means and methods.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Ability to plan and see the big picture.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Excellent leadership and human resources management skills.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Recommended Skills Communication Construction Management Crisis Management Human Resources Leadership Negotiation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
