2K a year R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Security & Fire Systems Technician.
This individual will be both Performing the Installation and Service of various types of Security Systems and other Technologies at our facilities across their region.

Responsibilities:
Install and provide routine service to Access Control, IP Cameras/CCTV, Intrusion, Fire alarm, and other related security systems at varying types of locations.
Conduct basic troubleshooting techniques, and escalate when appropriate for resolution.
Perform Preventative Maintenance on existing equipment and devices.
Must be able to teach and train end users and apprentices when needed.
Prepare documentation in a variety of written and electronic formats (e.
g.
daily work reports/log, As-Builts, Drawings, Time and Materials, Inventory, etc.
) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying project information.
Requirements:
The ability to travel extensively.
Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
Position requires a high level of efficiency, attention to detail, time management, quality control, and teamwork.
Positive attitude.
Be willing to utilize aerial lifts for service and installation.
2-5 years' experience in security/low-voltage/network cabling and infrastructure.
Must have a clean driving record.
Constant Professional.
Preferred:
Proficient knowledge with Security Systems:
Intrusion, Access Control, CCTV.
and Fire Systems.
Electrical expertise including knowledge of digital Electronics, Relays, AC & DC circuits and an understanding of parallel and series resistor circuits and their effects.
Experience cutting/installing Electric Strikes and other electrified locking hardware.
Manufacturer Certifications, NICET and/or State Fire Alarm Certifications.
