This position plays a key role in helping to manage the health of our patient's eyes.
NO PREVIOUS MEDICAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
Must be able to multi task, have excellent customer service skills and the willingness to learn! JOB DUTIES:
The Front Desk department is the face of our company, the job will include greeting and checking in patients in an upbeat manner, scheduling different types of appointments, answering multi-line phones, handling basic insurance inquiries, ordering contact lenses, going over co-pays while checking out patients for their visit and other miscellaneous duties.
The Clinical Technician role is to assist the Optometrist in providing care for patients.
Including performing pre-testing, scans, and gathering medical history for each patient.
This ideal candidate will have great bed-side manner/customer service skills, responsible, detail oriented and eager to learn.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), compensated on an hourly basis, with full benefits including 401 plan/health and dental insurance after eligibility, as well as a free eye exam a year with nearly at cost materials for the staff member.
MUST HAVE QUALITIES:
Great customer service skills, caring and friendly demeanor with patients and co-workers.
Willingness to learn, PUNCTUAL and a good team player.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- No prior experience or certification needed.
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure.
- Excellent phone and communication skills is a must.
High school diploma or GED required; vocational certification or some college preferred.

00 raise (dependent on performance review after the initial 90-day probation period with your department lead).
