Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification to verify legal drinking age - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations - Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction - Upsell drink specials and promote new menu items Skills:
- Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for handling cash transactions - Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Familiarity with catering services and ability to assist with event planning - Proficiency in operating a cash register or Aloha POS system - Knowledge of brewing techniques and ability to recommend beer selections to customers - Basic food handling knowledge to ensure safe serving practices Note:
