Duties and Responsibilities - Aside from the primary duty of overseeing a construction project, a Construction Manager will have other duties and responsibilities as well.
Some of these duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Coordinate trades and vendors so that the project remains on schedule.
Ensure the work is completed in accordance with building code and Deltona standards.
Approve invoices, work orders and purchase orders for the project.
Ensure that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe work site.
Liaise with local authorities to schedule inspections for the project.
Skills and Qualifications - A quality Construction Manager should be capable of managing a project from start to finish and allocating resources accordingly.
