Director of Purchasing

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product procurement of both domestic and internationally sourced products for distribution. The Ideal candidate will also have a strong background integrating forecasting and demand planning with purchasing execution to ensure optimal inventory levels while delivering excellent fill rates, cost savings, and service.
This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the President & CEO. This position will require an experienced hands-on Purchasing and Inventory Management leader that is able to drive results in a fast paced, short cycle and demanding customer fulfillment environment. This position requires a leader with strong leadership skills and strong personality with the ability to work effectively with the business's other functions to achieve both short term and long term business results. This position requires a leader that is able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and dynamically changing environment with minimal direction and oversight, maintaining a no surprises environment. Key to success in this role is the ability to effectively lead and manage all aspects of the Purchasing and Inventory Management functions. This will include leadership responsibility in coordinating, planning and execution of a successful inventory management strategy by working with operations, sales, finance and executive leadership.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
