CSR Position Description
Summary:
Take inbound calls to assist customers with general inquiries requests pertaining to accounts and perform account maintenance as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish new wireless service accounts.
Assist customer with requests including plan changes, top ups, and payments.
Troubleshoot/investigate device to determine defective devices and submit replacement requests as need.
Complete live Lifeline recertification for compliance purposes.
Routinely meet with team lead for personal development.
Special projects as assigned by Management.
EDUCATION AND SPECIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a strong knowledge of Sales, customer service, and account care and provisioning.
Previous call center experience as a customer service representative a plus.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and have keen attention to details.
Needs the ability to multitask in a fast paced team environment and possesses the skills to communicate with customers using web-based tools and able to demonstrate proficiency in typing and grammar.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external clients and vendors.
Problem analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
