Journeyman Plumber/Helper
Requirements:
-Plumbers must be able to read and understand blueprints and work with little to no supervision.
-Must have experience in underground, layouts, and rough ins
-Must have experience with copper, cast iron, and gas lines
Helpers must have:
-More than two years residential and light commercial experience
-Basic hand tools
-Experience with: PVC, Copper, cast, most phases of residential and light commercial plumbing
-Willingness to work under direction to complete specific tasks
o Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet)
o Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
o Able to perform work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders, on/off equipment and work from various heights
o Able and willing to walk, stand, bend, and sit for long periods of time
o Able to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling
o Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe mannerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
