John Deere Construction Mechanic to $28/hr
Must have STRONG knowledge of John Deere equipment. Knowledge of other brands is helpful as well.
We are not looking for PM guys. We need very experienced techs who can diagnose, tear down and repair equipment such as Excavators, Backhoes, Trackhoes, Tractors, etc.
Duties and Tasks:
1. Pre-deliver, inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair construction equipment
2. Order parts and prepare repair estimates
3. Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required.
4. Complete jobs within set time constraints
5. Keep work areas clean and orderly
6. Work in a safe manner
7. Comply with company policies and government regulations
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Vocation or technical degree and/or equivalent work experience or training (2
years)
3. Strong communication skills
4. Basic math skills
5. Self-motivated
6. Knowledge of Service Department Operations and Construction Equipment Technology
