PAY GRADE: 13A ($11.11/hr.)
Responsible for planning and conducting the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) courses and the implantation of on line CDA training.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinates and conducts the 120-hour Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) courses.
2. Conducts formal observations on students who enroll and participate in the FCCPC courses.
3. Assists participants who complete the FCCPC program in achieving their National CDA.
4. Identifies potential community resources and continues to maintain contact with those already identified.
5. Networks with community resources in each county to provide the FCCPC courses to new and prospective providers.
6. Determines and coordinates training locations.
7. Ensures the Child Development Associate Credential curriculum is being adhered to.
8. Maintains training records of all training participant's who enroll and complete/do not complete the FCCPC courses.
9. Reviews policies and procedures related to the FCCPC program.
10. Disseminates announcements/fliers advertising training times, dates, and locations and work with the agency Public Relations Director for marketing.
11. Collaborates and coordinates with the providers for the Teacher Education and Compensation Help (T.E.A.C.H) initiative.
12. Prepares and submits required reports to the Training Director.
13. Provides information related to training department opportunities for students.
14. Monitor new and existing FCCPC files to ensure the program meets/exceeds monitoring guidelines for Children and Families and the Commission for Independent Education.
15. Assist with the accreditation and renewal process of current and future licensure.

MINIMUM
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education/Child Growth and Development or related field, with six (6) college credit hours in early childhood education/child growth and development; and one year experience working with children ages birth through eight
AND
a. An active National Early Childhood Credential or Birth Through Five FCCPC, four years' experience working with children within the same age range as the student's classroom, and two years of responsibility for the professional growth of another adult; or
b. Associate's level degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field, two years' experience working with children in the same age range as the student's classroom, and two years of responsibility for the professional growth of another adult
2. One year (12 months) experience in administration or one year (12 months) experience in training adults.
3. Knowledge of Child Development Associate Credentialing program.
4. Knowledge of training techniques and procedures.
5. Ability to keep records and be organized.
6. Skills in interacting with individuals on all levels of the socio-economic structure of the community.
7. Position requires working evenings and Saturdays
8. Position requires traveling in multiple counties in which the program operates.
9. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
